What is Erenumab?

Before you start taking the Erenumab vaccine, you should definitely discuss these things with your doctor, as this information is very important for your safety.

• Circulatory problems: If you have a condition such as Raynaud's syndrome, which causes your fingers to become cold, pale, or blue.
• High blood pressure: If you already have high blood pressure or are taking medication for it.
• Allergies: If you have any allergies to erenumab, latex (some injection equipment may contain these), other medications, foods, or dyes, you should tell your doctor.
• Pregnancy: If you are pregnant or are expecting to become pregnant soon.
• If you are a breastfeeding mother: If you are a breastfeeding mother.

How do you use this medicine?

What if I miss a dose?

If you forget to take your medicine, take that dose as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the scheduled time. Never take two doses at once.

What are the possible side effects of this medicine?

Like any medicine, Erenumab can cause some side effects. Not everyone gets them, but it's important to be aware of them.

How do you store the medicine?

Storing this medicine properly is very important to maintain its quality.

• Refrigeration (the most suitable method):
• Store the medicine in the refrigerator. Never put it in the freezer. If the medicine freezes, do not use it.
• Take the vaccine out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before giving it and let it come to room temperature.
• If you don't use it after taking it out, don't put it back in the refrigerator.

• Keeping at room temperature:
• In an emergency, this medicine can be kept at room temperature (between 20-25 Celsius) for up to 7 days .
• If you store it outdoors, keep it in its original packaging, away from light.
• If stored at room temperature, it should be used within 7 days. If it is expired or after 7 days, it should be discarded.
