- If you have any weakness or problem with your immune system.
- If you have any other infection, including a viral infection such as chickenpox or herpes.
- If you have large areas of burned or damaged skin.
- If you have a rare skin condition called `Netherton's syndrome`.
- If you have recently undergone or are undergoing radiation therapy.
- If you have an allergic reaction to pimecrolimus or any other medicine, food, or dye.
- If you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

How exactly do you use this?

This is a topical medication only . Do not take it by mouth for any reason.
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap before and after applying the cream. However, if you are applying the medicine to both hands, wash them only before applying.
- Do not let it get into your eyes. If you accidentally get it in your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with clean water.
