- Anticoagulants.
- A surgery to remove the cause of the obstruction.
For Takayasu's arteritis:
- Anti-inflammatory medications such as corticosteroids.
- Immunosuppressive drugs.
- Angioplasty or surgery to open the blockage.
Things we can do to keep this balance healthy
The same things you do to keep your cardiovascular system healthy are the same things you should do to keep your subclavian artery healthy. These are very simple things that can be incorporated into your daily life.
