99% of these random things are harmless and normal . It could be a small scar left over from an old infection. Or it could be a harmless birth defect.
But the problem is, you can't tell 100% at that point whether it's harmful or not. What happens then?

But these are very rare cases . This does not apply to a normal healthy person. If there is such a need, it is up to your doctor to decide. You are not alone.

- US Preventive Services Task Force: They say that screening for pancreatic cancer in asymptomatic, low-risk individuals does more harm than good. That's why they gave it a grade of "D," their lowest recommendation.
- American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM): Their official guidelines clearly state that whole-body scans should not be used to detect cancer early in people who have no symptoms.
- American College of Radiology: These are the people who oppose it, even though it could make money from scans. They say, “There is insufficient evidence to justify whole-body scans without a specific reason, such as symptoms, risk factors, or family history.” They also say that it only leads to unnecessary tests, unnecessary costs, and stress.
